Reinvention!

I decided to reinvent my blog to include some travel adventures.  Creativity is after all reinvention, re-fashioning and representation.  I am sorry my dearest audience that I haven’t been posting new recipes.  I am not doing much cooking this year.  At least for the next six months I am working on finishing my thesis.   My lovely and supportive partner has offered to take over the household chores including cooking.  He makes the most delicious beef stews.  I should take a photo and put it up.  So I really haven’t been doing much.  But perhaps this reinvention will get me to engage with the blog again.  I recently travelled to Singapore and Malaysia in December 2010.  Part of the reason was to make wedding preparations!! Yes I am getting married in July 2011.  Wow!  And I am also submitting my thesis end-August 2011.  Yes, I worry and stress about it.

But this should not distract you.  No, not at all.  In fact I believe this reinvention will enable my impetus to keep up critical commitment.  A smile and critical commitment towards these last six months of my thesis life.  And then FREEDOM!  I have so much to tell you dear reader but I can’t quite pour out my feelings all at once.  It’s too overwhelming.  Especially when it comes to fighting demons.  Demons that lurk in every corner.  Demons introduce paranoia, negativity, hate and anger into the crevices of the brain when the silence sets in.  Mind chatter.  Nevertheless, I am committed to fighting demons this year.  With some cheese and crackers if possible.

So… I might have to think of a new theme for the blog.  I kind of like this design.  I might introduce different menu items and gradually bring in the travel to complement the food.  Alright then twitter critters, let’s just wait and see.  Shall we?
